How to Make Your Own DIY Body Scrub at Home

Published on 4th November 2021

We love autumn and winter; all the nice coats, lovely flavoured coffees, festive feasting and much more. What we don’t love? The dry skin that comes with it. Today, we’re sharing our magical method to making your very own DIY body scrub. You’ll have soft n’ supple skin in no time at all!

What You’ll Need:

  • Sugar
  • Coconut oil
  • Your scent of choice: this could be anything from vanilla essence, rose water, cinnamon, essential oils… Get creative with it!
  • A bowl and spoon for mixing
  • A container for your scrub.

Method:

  • Place your coconut oil on a low heat until molten.
  • Mix equal amounts of melted coconut oil and sugar until smooth. Depending on what texture you prefer your scrubs, add more/less sugar - for a drier consistency, add more sugar.
  • Add in your scents and mix throroughly until fully blended.
  • Using a spoon, add your lip scrub to an airtight container and add to your bathroom cabinet for your next pamper session.
